You are So Special

Hot Air Balloons!  I think they are so cool floating thru the air... every year by my in-laws house they launch a bunch of them for the 4th of July, like I said... so cool!  So when I saw that Just Us Girls#233 photo inspiration is a hot air balloon, I just had to play along!

I used some of my extremely OLD stash!  yippie for me :-)  These gorgeous printed papers are that super think (but oh so pretty) stuff that is really difficult to use, I don't have a lot of it left, just the pieces that I really really like the print on. I have a hard time using them because they are 12x12 but 12x12 sized print on them, these are the two smallest prints in the set, so fun & festive... perfect for a Thank You card, I think

oh I got my new Unity Stamp Co. Layers of Life stamps  and I just love love love them... the flower, the background stamps & the "inspire" sentiment - it's a perfect stamp set!  So since I now have a perfect stamp set, I HAD to use it for Unity's Friends with Flair



I'm a purple freak... My kitchen is a deep purple, our school color is purple, my birthstone is purple... it's a happy color for me

beautiful reasons to be happy

so many great crafty things happened to me today... I saw the Mojo Monday Sketch #334 and HAD to use it, I got my new Unity Stamps in the mail (so I had to use them ALL), and I found The Gentleman Crafter's Project: I Care (making cards for breast cancer survivors plus friends & family of current patients, a very worthy cause in my book)

oh I am SO far behind in my Operation Write Home Sketches!  so I'm just gonna work my way backwards until I finally, eventually hit the last one I actually did and I have no idea which one that is at this point!





I love this paper TREMENDOUSLY but I am just about out of it in 6x6.  The colors just speak to me... fire & butterflies... firey butterflies :-)  very cool
