Specialty Challenge Time

Don't cry over spilled cookies
This week Picture Perfect Creations has a special challenge for you.... Use 2 Ribbons & 3 Buttons on your project, nothing could be easier :-)

I took this opportunity to give this adorable Chinese take-out container & fortune cookies a whirl:
You can find the Artist, Karen Hanson, from Crop Chocolate on The Crop complete with a printable pattern and video instructions, how sweet is that?!
I took liberties with the "ribbon" and used two colors of twine instead, my twine is from The Twinery.  Paper is Echo Park's For The Record (a favorite of mine!) and funky flowers/buttons are from Sassafras, cute large brads used on side of container are from Making Memories... all of which I purchased from Crop Chocolate.

Don't forget to upload your project & go check-out all the Design Team members creations at Picture Perfect Creation!

Family

In-Laws....
some hate em, some love em, some put up with them on holidays, and some see them everyday... Gotta confess here, I love mine and I'm so lucky to have the in-laws that I have!
This was taken years ago before we got married, I was included because I think I had just worn them all down by this point & they knew there was no getting rid of me :-)  It was my (future at that time) in-law's 40th anniversary and this is what they wanted for a gift, their 4 boys.
I got the pick of the litter!

Products Used: black cardstock-CTMH: other cardstock-Stampin Up; "Family" plaque & felt-no clue; bling -Making Memories; tape-Tim Holtz;edge punch-Martha Stewart; black photo hangers-CTMH.  Hand made flowers from me :-)

Here's your color combo, go get crafty!

BikesBluesBBQ 2010

To Fayetteville, Arkansas there is nothing quite like Bikes Blues & BBQ which happens every fall.

During the 2010 BBB we had special guests arrive... my Dad Jim's best friend from California Bob & his wife Judy, of course my step-mom Jan came as well.
We did get to do much riding, just from our house to Dickson Street, Bob's back was acting up so he drove the car & met us there.  We road the train from Dickson street down to where some of the alternate attractions were set up (helicopter rides, stunt riders, vendor booths, etc)

Products Used: All cardstock-Stampin Up; printed paper-CTMH; white puffy paint-Polymark; all die cuts using Cricut with Gypsy (various cartridges); ink-CTMH; alpha stamp set-Making Memories magnetic

Here's this week's color combo for you:

UnOfficial Crop Chocolate Blog Hop!!

Hippity Hoppity.... Our Blog Hop starts with rosaliejb

I have created something not just for you to see but for my niece to send out.. Thank you cards!  We made 60 of them but most of them were different, these were my favorites
********************************************
A little project Autumn had brought with her was a carryall to decorate.  Someone had given her the glitter glue (slowest drying stuff ever created) along with some head-set gems.  She wanted me to do the honors but I made her give me a hand.  I don't really care for how it turned out so I'm going to add a bit more fabric paint... this kind doesn't really do much for me, time for a trip to the craft store!
