oh a vacation would be spectacular...

but alas, my Girl's Getaway Vacay had to be cancelled

You see my Best Friend almost died July 3

so I made a mad dash up to Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO

and thankfully she will be fine

but she was in there for a week

I stayed with her most of the time

I couldn't work knowing/not knowing

I used some of my extremely OLD stash!  yippie for me :-)  These gorgeous printed papers are that super think (but oh so pretty) stuff that is really difficult to use, I don't have a lot of it left, just the pieces that I really really like the print on. I have a hard time using them because they are 12x12 but 12x12 sized print on them, these are the two smallest prints in the set, so fun & festive... perfect for a Thank You card, I think

I wanna be a Cowboy

this stamp cracks me up!  I received it as a freebie with my Stamper's Best order that came yesterday... of course I loved the stamps that I chose, but this one I didn't pick & never would have but I seriously love it... so much fun!

I used The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS201 for this one but changed it up just a little turning what appears to be ribbon & a button into the bandanna strip and the star.
