One of our last acts being on the current Crop Chocolate Design Team is helping everyone with their organization! There have been many a cry "
HELP, I'm drowning in my stuff and don't know what to do with it any more"! Relax, we're here to help :-) I've posted before my overall room (click
HERE to see previous post) and I'm sick of doing that, so this time I'm taking the "in depth" approach, little snippets of my room... here we go:
This is my secondary ribbon spool storage, for those "overflow" rolls that don't fit on my main ribbon spool that my sweetheart made me (click
HERE to see, it's completely full now). I put a large black clippie on the bottom of the white roll of ribbon onto a dowel rod and just lean it against the back of the door frame that goes to the living room (glass french doors separate my room ).

Next comes a re-purposed floral vase I
received years ago that I keep my KaiserColour paints in. It's the perfect size for the 6 I have.
Loose Ribbon storage is handled using wood spools I purchased from
RibbonCarrousel then stored them on a plain old wood spool storage thingy from JoAnn's. These large spools are metal (don't you just LOVE them) I got from Sign Sealed Delivered Annex in Springdale, Arkansas. They make a huge impact yet are practical too... just how I like my stuff to be!
This is my card blank/envelope storage plus a few miscellaneous items too, I've labeled those that aren't obvious. The little white drawer thing is just from Wal-Mart & holds small note card/envelope blanks.
a small wood corner shelf holds Smooch & Tattered Angels.... sprays, glazes, glams. Other sprays are stored elsewhere but these are my latest & greatest so I have them out & handy to grab off the wall.
Sister Design Team Member, Corrie, created a great tutorial
HERE to create this great holder for our Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I have room to add another row to one end still so I have room to grow by 10 more pads!
On the other shelf, I have all my TH Color Wash Sprays & Distress Stains along with a couple of TH crackle paints.
My Favorite Updated area!
This is all of my twine from The Twinery along with new zip top baggies from Crop Chocolate for my small color coded items. It looks messy but it's so easy to find what I'm looking for & sometimes trip over another item to use... I love cheap curtain rods! This area will continually change to meet my needs & what supplies I have.
Now for the Messy Area:
This wire cube shelving system is going to be replaced when my handy hubby gets around to building the new wood shelf I've designed.... hopefully sometime during 2012 I'll have an update on this for you
Now you're off to see what
Beth has in her space!
