Ride On

The current sketch from Seize the Sketch #19 is great for those little pieces of paper left over in the bottom of your storage baggies (ok well, I keep my 6x6 pads in Quart size zip-top baggies)

No stamping or inking of any kind today, instead
I mixed together two different paper packs
Fancy Pants Park Bench 6x6
and
Fancy Pants The Good Life 4x6 Brag Pad

Did I mention Arrie's sweetheart of a husband and

This is for Arrie

She Laughs

Years ago, my brother met this girl (she's quite a bit younger than us), she had this adorable little girl, then not terribly long later, they decided to get married & had a baby together, but she & I never really bonded... you see we just didn't have much in common and didn't click.
Stuff & junk happened over the next few years and they divorced. Flash forward, different stuff & junk happened and we are friend, it's amazing how that happens... and I really think she's a great lady.
Recently I received a graduation invitation from her for college!

And I am So Unbelievably PROUD of her!
This is for Melody :-)

And her graduation invitation is hung on our refrigerator

Here's my inspiration.. Fusion Card Challenges
Ink - Tim Holtz Distress Ink & butterfly colored with Copic Markers

be courageous

oh my... UmWoW!

yep, that's exactly what this is!

from the paper to the stamps to the chippies... my friend & the owner of UmWoW Studio,
DeeDee, created this line for 7 Dots Studio and
I'm completely in l-o-v-e with it!

I'd planned on telling you more but I think I'll just show you instead  ;-)

ok so I went totally grungy on this one
but I think the person I've made it for will appreciate it

fly

I whipped out the Newest Layers of Life stamp set
from Unity Stamp Company to create this card for a friend
who is going through a rough patch right now...
cuz I love her!
this color combo was difficult for me to use, I'm not sure why
but I'm so happy with how it turned out
and I LOVE this butterfly!
here's another view of the pretty

Challenge!

It's not often that I come up with something but you see I'm in this Facebook group that does challenges to each other and it was my turn.

The wheels started turning, I ended up creating a sketch!  What?  yep, it's true!

You can see the official rules & requirementes
over on my facebook page: Paula's Paper Playhouse

Here's the Sketch:

Post a DIRECT link to your creation (blogs, facebook, etc. anywhere as long as I can go see what you made & leave a comment) as a comment to the Paula's Paper Playhouse post.

Deadline is one month from today: May 15 @ Midnight CST

I must be able to recognize my sketch in your creation.

The more people who play, the bigger the prize package. Open to U.S. addresses only (sorry but I hate paying for postage)

Got Questions? just ask!
