Spooky Woods

Color Challenge from The Paper Players to use Stampin Up's Bravo Burgundy, More Mustard, Cajun Craze, and Very Vanilla but I had to also add in Early Espresso.

While I do own most SU colors in cardstock, I only have two ink pads... uuummm yeh none of these colors so I made due with Tim Holtz

Background: Tim Holtz Ink Pads in Mustard Seed, Gathered Twigs, Ripe Persimmon, Scattered Straw, and a touch of Walnut Stain.

Tree Ink: Tim Holtz Walnut Stain

Stamp Set: Basic Grey Boo

and for that little extra something... I made the focus point tree glow-in-the-dark & I love the finish the stuff dried to.  For this I used GLOW from Tulip, actually I use this stuff A LOT!

  1. These colors were the perfect backdrop to these 'eerie' little trees! Love that you made the center tree glow-in-the-dark. It does have a great finish. Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players!

  2. Paula, I just love how you showcased the colors in the background. I especially like how that center tree is showcased so beautifully on the layered panel. How cool that it is glow-in-the-dark, too. Thanks so much for joining us at the Paper Players this week! :)

  3. Lovely job matching the colors and that tree is fantastic! Your layout and use of the colors really highlight the tree! Thanks for joining us at The Paper Players!

  4. I love someone who's creative and persistent, despite not always having the supplies that would make it easy. This is where true creation and inspiration comes from. This turned out fabulous. A huge applause to you for finding the right stuff to make it work for the challenge. Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Paper Players this week!

  5. How pretty, the sky with the different colours and the trees appear so elegant. Thanks for joining us at the Paper Players!
