I found a fun tutorial over on Craftinessisnotoptional for a pumpkin that starts flat & if you tie correctly it will be flat when the season is over too! Now THAT is good news
I decided to make the 8" more round pumpkin but it has a problem with not standing easily, which I resolved with the addition of a planter base
