US... together

oh boy, this one... I got a wild hair to try something different.  for the background, I mixed light pink Making Memories paint with Tim Holtz Alcohol ink which turned into kinda old bubblegum texture goop, I spread the goop out. I smeared CloseToMyHeart Pearl Paint onto the stamp and pressed it into the bubblegum goop, rinsed it off the stamp, inked up with red ink & stamped again to give it a little color.  The image is really funky & full of texture.

I combined several challenges for this one, something I rarely do:
Hiding in My Craft Room - Pink, Red & White
Stampendous - Add Some Texture
The Sampler Kit Club - Photo Inspiration

All Stamp - CloseToMyHeart Soul Mate

Red Ink - CloseToMyHeart Cranberry

Gingham Ribbon - Jillibean Soup Beanstalks

White Ribbon - misc from stash

White metal embellishment - Making Memories

Turning Leaves

Fall is inching closer & closer and the leaves turn one by one, well in our case here in our woods a few hundred by few hundred would be more accurate!

I combined the Color Combo From JustUsGirls with the
sketch from Stampendous September Sketch Challenge

not the most spectacular card I've ever made...

Cardstock & Ink- CTMH

Ribbon - Doodlebug Design Inc.

U and Me 4 ever

Today my sweet mama dropped by for a visit, she just wanted me to make Lolo's birthday card but I really wanted to play with my new CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge so I asked who we could make a fall card for... she pick her big sissy, my Aunt Sarah.

We went thru a bunch of sketch blogs until we came across Stampendous! Sketch Challenge #41. Here's our overall creation:
Printed paper - My Mind's Eye So Sophie Graceful, that cartridge from CTMH, ink pads all from CTMH, ribbon from Hobby Lobby grab bag.  Hope Aunt Sarah enjoys it as much as we enjoyed making it!
