Not only is there a fantastic sketch for this week on Operation Write Home's blog, but there is a Blog Candy Alert too! You probably should check it out :)
This great printed paper comes from My Mind's Eye called Find and Dandy True Blue (gotta love those boy & girl owls!)
The cardstock is from this HUGE stack I recently bought from DieCutWithAView for a fantastically low price. It could be a tad bit thicker for my taste but I'll fully line the whole thing so it will hold up to the solider's writing home.
Stamp - Unity Stamp Co. Miss You So Much
Ink - CloseToMyHeart Cocoa
Yellow Dots - Candi (I love these! They add embellishment without the weight & bulk of metal brads)
Of course I made more than just these two, I ended up with six cards!
I love that you made 6 cards....that paper pad is great- I love the owls and the colors! And the yellow 'candi'....sweet!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you were busy! Those are darling and bright colors are my faves! I also really like my Candies for the reason you mentioned. I just wish they came in mini sizes.
ReplyDeleteI really need to get in the habit of making several cards at once, like you have done. Good for you! You are working with a great group of patterns and colors. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove those cute owls! This is a cute paper pad and I'm glad to hear you made six cards...awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove that paper! Those flat dots are great; I need to find some. :)
ReplyDelete6 cards, well done! I barely managed the one today. I love those papers and how you used them. Thank you for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteLove!
ReplyDeleteYour choice of colors is so bright and cheery! I guess blue and orange really does work together!
ReplyDeleteFun fresh color combinations - love the papers!
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing a lot of these Candis lately so it must be an omen. I need them. I really like the vertical sentiment and those owls are just darling, as are the papers. Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteI like your color combination! Also the owls are very popular. Someone is going to scoop this card up in a heartbeat!
