This week is my week at Our Creative Corner to get creative with your craftiness..... so let's get our bling on!
Like I said over on Our Creative Corner, I'm not a girly girl... it's true in so many ways including the fact that I live with my husband & two sons! I live in tee shirts & jeans, my oldest won't wear anything except jeans unless he is forced to... some times stuff just has to sparkle & shine... so make it sparkle... use rhinestones, stickles, glitter along with something found in nature (plants, animals, etc.)
Printed Papers - Basic Grey 6x6 Euphoria
Cardstock - CloseToMyHeart
Stamp Set - Unity SOTM July 2012 Ol' Bag of Fun
On the wine bottle & wine glass I used VersaMark with Clear embossing powder.
Stickles - Purple, Stary Night, Crystal
Distsress Stickles - Shabby Shutters
The leaves were stamped using VersaMark with a Tapestry Embossing powder.
Sentiment Ink - Tim Holtz Dusty Concord
Paula you designed a wonderful challenge and I had the best time! I love what you've created here with the window scene and the wine and the leaves. The torn paper and the very tactile embellishments really bring nature and bling together wonderfully! :)

This window card is SO cool, Paula! First, I love the story behind your challenge, and then your card is a perfect example of it! SO organic with that bit of bling! LOVE it! Hugs, Marcy
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun challenge you designed Paula! I LOVE anything that sparkles, so you had my attention at the word bling! Lol! Such a fun window card you created with the sparkly accents in all the perfect places. A very creative card, indeed. Have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteHello Paula
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Window card, well done on your first Challenge with OCC.
You do not need to explain this card as the design/elements tells us everything. A great card.
Smiles:)

How cute is this? I love the window pane effect and the torn edges. I had so much fun with this challenge. What a great way to start out with the OCC!

Fabulous Paula, the window idea is very cute, and I like what I can see through it too :) The leaves frame the card nicely and love that bit of bling on them!
