Growing in Unity see me creating stuff to hang on my wall! I saw this plain wood cross at Wal-Mart in the craft section (while looking for something, of course) and thought it would be great to stamp on. So I snagged it and a jar of white craft paint.
I painted it white covering the entire front then started stamping away using various Tim Holtz Distress Inks and these Unity Stamps: 11-13 KOM Strength & Dignity; Here Today, Here Tomorrow, Webster's Page: Dream Big, 6-12 KOM Sweet Summer Love and Moment by Moment... yes I have a thing for butterflies.
Don't forget to leave me a little bit of love & you'll be entered to win Two Unity Itty Bitty Stamps of your choice at the end of my week... cuz Unity rocks like that!
Super cute my friend!

ReplyDeleteOh man, this is GORGEOUS! I've seen that same wooden cross blank and wondered how I could jazz it up for my mother; I give her a cross every Easter. So, this is just stamped with the TH Distress Inks, nothing else?? No sealant? Did you heat dry? I'd really like to do something like this, would you email me if you have a chance so maybe I could get some tips? tinaroxursox@yahoo.com Thank you! <3
