This one is for Unity Stamp Co.'s Friends with Flair
I really like this paper..... it's fun, it's funky... but it's so dang difficult to use on a project because it's so out there. I saw a card on facebook using the negative cut that looked like a sun, but I don't have that cut so I went with this one from the Paper Lace cartridge
Printed Paper - Basic Grey Out of Print 6x6 pad
Brad - Basic Grey
Stamp - Unity Stamp Co. Heartfelt Sentiments
Stamp Ink - CloseToMyHeart Black
Distress Ink - Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs
The kraft negative cut tones down the vibrant patterned paper nicely - love your card! (I love Out of Print too - here's a card I made if you felt like checking it out - http://www.flickr.com/photos/87499636@N04/8580331597/in/photostream )

ReplyDeleteWow! Cool card! I often have trouble using BG paper. I've quit buying it. I like it in theory, until I try to use it. Then, I think, "what the heck am I supposed to do with THIS?" and back on the shelf it goes. Good for you for finding a way to use it!

ReplyDeleteI am still a big fan of BG papers, but now that I stopped scrapping, I just buy the 6x6. I really love how you used it in your creation.
