Thinking of You

This week's Challenge from Our Creative Corner is Give your card a Decorative Edge, Everything has to be WHITE and if you are using rhinestones they must be silver... easy, right?  well, talk to the girl that had to keep changing her Design Team project to make it conform!  Hello, that would be me.

Base Layer - Stampin' Up Printed Vellum (it has butterflies & dragonflies on it, they've yellowed a bit over time)

Stems - Fancy Pants Doodles & Things, stamped with VersaMark & Embossed with White Zing

Beautiful Crochet Flowers - my awesomely awesome step-mom Becky

Flower Centers - Silver Bling Making Memories & White Brads American Crafts Elements

Dragonfly - Cricut Camp Out Cartridge cut from CloseToMyHeart White Cardstock with tiny pop dots from The Paper Studio

Sentiment - Technique Tuesday Hello My Friend

Stamp Ink - Memento London Fog

and look at that.... I stitched the vellum to the cardstock that I punched with a Martha Stewart edge punch of leaves

  1. Shazam!! You completely rocked this card out. I don't believe I've EVER seen vellum stitched so amazingly and with such a wonderful backdrop behind it. What you've created here is a gorgeous blend of whites and the touch of nature, the terrific edge and the crocheted bits are perfect!!
