You would NOT believe what I did to all SIX of  my cards for this challenge... you see the polka dot pieces?  Well some Ding Dong adhered every single one of them down on the reverse and added all the top pieces to it, I even took the picture and was ready to crop when I realized that something was missing... like oh say the Polka Dots!  ACK, so I had to pull all the top parts off,  remove all the adhesive from the Polka Dot side, reapply adhesive then re-assemble!  SHEESH, so many names to call myself so little time... HA

That's why Thank You cards are my favorite type of cards to make for our Soldiers to send home... a while back I wrote about making cards from those little tabs along the top of 6x6 paper pads, these I had started but never finished.  Today I was challenged to make some Halloween or Fall cards using Orange & Black so while digging thru my chosen paper pack, I ran across these "tab" cards I had started :-)  Happy find!



This single card (to the right) I made 100% today, based on the current sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday 081613






This little detail I used Smooch in Carrot to accent, add a little extra fun to this card.  I've VERY happy with how it turned out!

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!  I wasn't sure when I put the last piece of Washi down if I liked it or not but I think the Hot Pink Cardstock mat really helps tie it together

I love this sentiment, it reminds me of the summer days when my boys were smaller and they'd play in the rain while I sat on the porch swing & just watched them having a great time
