Potluck food theme is Mexican
Supplies Needed: trimmer, adhesive, papers & embelishments. You will be using your existing supplies on this one, but are welcome to order from the currrent Idea Book if you'd like some new paper or need other supplies.Pre-Class Homework (please have at least #1 done and bring with you):
1. You will need 365 1" squares. These will be your days of the week in the calendar.
2. Pre-dating the squares. You will have more class time to put the calendar together (black goes with everything) if you have this done. I will have my stamps available for your use if you prefer to do it in class.3. Pre-plan what papers/colors, stickers, embelishments to use for each month. Make a list or go ahead & sort it out, this will make putting your calendar together so much quicker.
4. Don't forget about the "Free Trade" boxes if you don't have supplies for a month on your 2010 Calendar, these are there for the taking but I have no idea what is in them.
5. Mystery Box items are for sale on a first come/first served basis. These supplies I got for about half price & have added tax+shipping on, they are retired items from Close to my Heart.
I will need orders by the end of the day on July 31 to place the order on August 1. Carrie is our hostess for this crop. If we have a qualifying order, she will get to select free products!
Please RSVP! Let me know if you're bringing a friend - a trip to the "Goodie Box" for anyone who brings someone with them!
As always, I do not charge for you to attend! Your potluck dish to share with everyone is your cover charge.

I'm finally back! and I've been busy
After taking a couple of weekends off to enjoy the outdoors, then having friends over... we're back to being a lazy selves once again.
All paper & embelishments (except flowers on cover page) are CTMH, all are retired.
I'm now working on my mother-in-law's black & white photos from her childhood/young adulthood, 1930's thru 1960's, I think. My in-laws are such great people that I truely enjoy making & upkeeping their scrapbooks for them... better than the dresser drawer getting over-full of photos from all of us "kids", the grandkids & great-grandkids. This album is all about Hazel, her friends & family.
Cover Page:
Classmates from 1939-1940's:
My mil it top left, hard to see her in my bad pic but it was late & I was tired so I didn't check them before thinking "ok, they're good"
My mil in the larger photo on the left, teenager & with elementary classes in two right photos.
All paper & embelishments (except flowers on cover page) are CTMH, all are retired.
