Here's a little card I made for my Challenges From The Attic blog:
I got the image from Sypder, printed it (at work) on the laser printer & colored it in with my Copic Sketch markers, added stickles, layered a couple of misc cardstock circles & put it all on Bloom & Grow printed paper - Tada!! Please go join me for the challenge!

Picture Perfect Creations Color Combo this week really got me going! Here's my creation:
And the details:
The Color Combo:
Products Used: Cardstock-CMTH; Printed Paper-Making Memories Spook Alley; Spider-Making Memories Toil & Trouble; the awesome scarecrow-DigiStamp (by Cocodingo).
Technique used: waterbrush pen with ink pads. Fill your waterbrush with water, squeeze your ink pad to put ink on the inside of the lid, dip the waterbrush into ink on lid & color away. The best way I've found to use a DigiStamp is to print it with a laser printer (not an ink jet) the laser printer will heat your image to the paper (where as a ink jet just sprays it on, causing smearing & bleeding).

New Challenge Blog
from ME! Yes, I did it and it's called Challenges From The Attic! I have the very first Challenge posted, PLEASE join me!!
Kicking around an idea
Maybe of starting a challenge blog of my own... if you would take a few seconds to answer a few questions to help me decide:
1. What do ya'll think of me starting a challenge blog?
2. Do you think I could make it successful?
3. Would you want just a blog award or prizes?
4. I'd like to challenge not only color combos, but use of techniques, altering items, sketches, etc... what do you think of that?
5. Would you rather a winner be chosen randomly or for me to play judge and pick what I think fits the challenge the best?

Don't Hate Me Because I'm LUCKY!
Girlfriends you will NOT believe what I'm about to write.... I have won another free Cricut Cartridge from scrapbookpal.com!!! WHAT?! you say & all I can say is yes, it's true! I get to PICK OUT which one I want, but unfortunately they're sold out of Happy Hauntings & Tuesday I just ordered two other cartridges because I'd actually thought they'd already held their drawing! Now what's a girl to do?
My boy is going to NYC!
My oldest son is currently 12 and has been singing with the University of Arkansas Children's Choir for 3 years now. Spring 2010 part of the group went to Nashville to sing and while there they were heard by some big wig in the choiral community. After hearing them perform, they were invited to go to New York City in February of 2011. Last week we had tryouts for the 40 spots open to go, last night we got the good news! My son was one of the chosen and my husband will be going as well! Here is a recycled page you may have seen before of his choir from last year at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville.
My son is the tall dark-haired one. This year he sticks out a little more as he is currently 5'9 and still growing. Singing in the choir is a bit of a challenge for him due to his voice having already changed. But apparently he is very good!
He is multi-talented when it comes to music & has decided that he loves heavy metal, fine with me as I like it myself. He has an accoustic guitar that he has been playing for over two years and last Christmas we bought him an electric guitar that he is teaching himself to play. Here he is playing the guitar & singing along with Guitar Hero . Dh built him a mic stand so he could multi-task while playing.
This last part may sound silly but it isn't to him. He plays the tuba in the school band! This year being a 7th grader, he attends all home high school football games & plays with the senior high. While he doesn't like football much, he loves music!
If you're still with me, here's the point of this extremely long post.... I need fundraising ideas that a 12 year old boy would be willing to take part in. Throw em at me because we have to pay not only for my son to go but my husband as well - expensive! Thanks peeps!
