I've been busy this week...
but not with scrapbooking - at work & getting ready to go to my nephew's graduation. SO I've decided to re-post a favorite picture I took for work back in December. It was freezing cold just before the sun came up when I got this shot. I LOVE how blue the sky is plus the head/tail lights blurring as the cars go by. All the matching buildings are in a development my office produced.

22MAY09 Scrap Addict's Attic
I thought that maybe all the girls that don't get to come scrap in the Attic would like a peek...
The Sewing Station... during a crop we put food on the right end of the table, potluck style. Wonder Woman is a painting on canvas. Eventually this corner will go away when we have the money to add another staircase and this ceiling will then be a full 8' tall.

This is sitting in my chair (note placement of television for scrapping along). The taller "table" infront of me is actually our pool table, I keep it covered with a sheet to keep the felt top clean from scrap dust. The tan table on the far side of the room is for my boys to do their crafts on.
Here's my table when stand infront of the tv. To the left of the dartboard is my embelly cabinet, below and to the left of that is my mom's stuff (she just leaves it at my house).
The "cube" cabinet it my newest addition (need to get a good pic of it alone, it's awesome) and my old drafting table is perfect for setting eyelets & printer storage.
I love my room so much! Dh has been very generous with letting me have this space to myself with the exception of the addition of the pool table. When we want to play pool, I just fold up the tables and lean them against the front of my "cube" cabinet 1. it's out of the way and 2. it keeps small hands off my stuff ;-) We've had 11 scrappers working at one time in the room, sardines!
Hope you like it!
22MAY09 Two Misc Cards
22MAY09 Wallets
the instructions for these came from CTMH's Art & Soul:
I made two, one for my real dad & one for my adpotive dad... it's a very long complicated story, how I grew up; but I love them both as different as they are. I made the tan one in the fishing style like Art & Soul showed (mhy adoptive dad loves to fish and takes my boys every chance he gets) & the barn red on in more of a travel (my real dad is into his motorcycle and driving to California for vacations). I haven't added any pics yet because I messed up my printer's ink cartridge & need to go buy another very soon

Upcoming Bella Worshop On The Go Sample Pages
Here's a little preview of the June Workshop On The Go class we'll be having.
I did change out the suggested stamp set of Buttoned Together and left my titles blank so I can fill them in when I'm ready to apply pictures. I also didn't use the suggested ribbon rounds, but the Hollyhock ribbon that I am giving as part of the class instead. I also did not use the suggested Bella My Stickease, but made my own with stamp sets I had. When I get my next order in I will be adding the Mini-Medley Accents & Dimensional Elements Borders to the pages. Hope you like them!

Teacher Appreciate Gift - Mrs. Johnson
When I asked my 5th grader what we should get his teacher, ya know something she could actually USE, he came up with dry erase markers & he was specific about which brand she likes best. So I altered this can that come filled with Wasabie Peas into something she can store her dry erase markers in & fill it with a dozen different colored ones!

Teacher Appreciation Gift-Mrs. Eaton
This week is Teacher Appreciation week, so we got busy this weekend and made gifts for our wonderful teachers. This is for my 2nd grader's teacher, she was also my 5th grader's teachers 3 years ago so we've gotten to know her pretty well over the years. She is a super nice person & a great teacher!
