sometimes it's just not in the cards...

I set out this morning, did some work for an architect... about 2 hours and was so proud of myself for getting it done early. Then I decided to take on this Inspirational #17 Challenge and I had high hopes, very high hopes for how it was going to turn out but it didn't, not at all, not even near what I thougth this was going to look like... how disappointing.

  1. Hi Paula, you shouldn't be disappointed, it has turned out great. Often the ideas I have in my head don't turn out when I make a card and I might not like it so much but others do. And this is lovely, the colour of the flower against the background really makes it pop. Thanks for joining us at Inkspirational.

  2. I really like your card - I think the red flowers look great against that elegant paper. You know, I get the same feeling as you sometimes - especially when I know what to do - the result rarely ends up looking like what I have envisioned. The good thing though, others don't know what you had imagined, so they look at your card with different, and more objective, eyes. I think it's a stunning looking card:)

  3. Paula I don't see any problem with your card. It is beautiful. But I know how you feel because often my cards turn out different from what I have in my head. Your DSP and flowers look very elegant. Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational this week!
